1. Heard Sri Avijit Saxena, learned Counsel for petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for State-respondents and Sri Pranjal Mehrotra, learned Counsel for respondent 2.
2. On 26.11.2018, a demand notice under Section 3 of U.P. Government Electrical Undertakings (Dues Recovery) Act, 1958 (hereinafter referred to as 'Act, 1958') has been issued to petitioner which is under challenge.
3. It is always open to petitioner, if he has any dispute in respect of amount demanded, to approach Executive Engineer concerned and avail remedy under Para 6.5 of Electricity Supply Code, 2005.
4. Writ petition is dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy.
