The petitioner has preferred this writ petition for a direction upon the first respondent to decide his representation.
It is stated that the consolidation proceedings have been completed in the village about twenty-five years back and now fresh notification has been made. However, majority of the villagers now do not want the consolidation proceedings afresh in their village as they are satisfied with the earlier proceedings, which had concluded long back. For redressal of their grievance the villagers have made a representation to the Consolidation Commissioner, a copy of which is on the record, but the same has failed to elicit any response.
Taking into consideration the entire facts and circumstances of the case, I am of the view that the ends of justice would be met by issuing a direction upon the first respondent to consider the grievance of the petitioner and pass the appropriate order in accordance with law expeditiously.
Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
