Sri Vivek Verma, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent University has apprised the Court of the fact that the Chancellor has accorded approval to carry out amendment in the First Statutes of the University in respect of Bachelor of Physiotherapy Course w.e.f. 28.9.1998. Sri Yanendra Pandey holding brief of Sri Neeraj Tripathi appearing on behalf of Chancellor has also stated that the Chancellor has already approved the amendments in the First Statute. Sri Vivek Verma states that now the University will hold examination of the petitioners relating the said course within eight weeks.
Sri R.K. Ojha, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners very fairly stated that in view of the subsequent developments and the stand now taken by the University, no cause survives for pressing the instant matter any further.
Accordingly, the instant petition is disposed of by observing that the stand taken by the University before this Court shall be strictly adhered to by it and the examination of the petitioners would be conducted within eight weeks.
