Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Kritika Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the State respondents.
The petitioner has submitted an application to the Director General, Medical Education, on 11.08.2018, requesting for accepting his resignation from MBBS seat at L.L.R.M. Medical College, Meerut and also to get the original testimonials and fees returned to him.
The limited relief pressed by the petitioner is for an appropriate direction to the respondent no.2, Director General, Medical Education, Lucknow to decide the pending request of the petitioner at the earliest as the petitioner has already been allotted a seat in B.R. Ambedkar Medical College by Guru Govind Singh Indraprasth University, Delhi.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case we dispose of this petition with a direction to the respondent no.2 to pass an appropriate order on the pending request of the petitioner within a week from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, in accordance to law.
