Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(A) To issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing to the Respondent No.- 2 to decide the Old Case No.-715/1995 and Computerized case no.-T201515060378, U/S-34 of L.R. Act (Banshraj and Hansraj versus Sriram), which is pending before Tehsildar, Tehsil Phoolpur, District Azamgarh (Respondent No.-2) since 1995, within a stipulated period as well as if possible within three months."
It is stated that a mutation case under Section 34 of the U.P. Land Revenue Act filed by the petitioner in the year 1995 has not been decided till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2/Tehsilda, Tehsil Phoolpur, District Azamgarh to decide the mutation case as expeditiously as possible and positively within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
