The present writ petition has been filed with a prayer for mandamus commanding the Deputy Director of Consolidation, Maunath Bhanjan, i.e., respondent no. 1 to decide the stay application and the revision filed by the petitioners within the stipulated time. The memorandum of revision has been annexed as Annexure No. 2 to the writ petition.
Without expressing any opinion either on the merits of the case or the maintainability of the revision, the Deputy Director of Consolidation, Maunath Bhanjan, i.e., respondent no. 1 is directed to decide the revision filed by the petitioners within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him, in case, there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid revision filed by the petitioners.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
