Heard Shri Abhishek Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Dhirendra Singh, Brief Holder for the respondents no. 1 to 4.
The petitioner in the writ petition is seeking a direction to the respondent no. 2-District Magistrate Sambhal to cease the powers of the respondent no. 5 and restrain him from working on the post of Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Bichpuri Tehsil and District Sambhal. In this regard the petitioner is stated to have submitted a complaint/representation dated 25.1.2018 submitted on affidavit by registered post of the same date, Annexure-8 to the writ petition.
No useful purpose would be served in keeping this writ petition pending.
This writ petition is therefore disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2-District Magistrate Sambhal to consider and decide the petitioner's representation dated 25.1.2018 in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.
It is made clear that the court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merit.
