1. Petitioner's vehicle bearing Reg.No.KL-01-AE-9412 had been seized by the first respondent alleging commission of offence under the provisions of Kerala Protection of River Banks and Regulation of Removal of Sand Act, 2001.
2. Petitioner had submitted Ext.P4 representation before the second respondent for release of his vehicle, who is the competent authority.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.
4. Having regard to the nature of the contentions raised, I am of the view that this writ petition can be disposed of as under:
The second respondent is directed to consider Ext.P4 representation and pass appropriate interim W.P.(C)No.14410 of 2014 -:2:-
orders, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment and final orders, within a period of six weeks thereafter. The order shall be passed after reference to Exts.P2 and P3 as well.
Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
