Although the prayer made in the instant petition is for issuance of a direction to the trial court to decide Original Suit No.214 of 2017 within a time specified by this Court, but at the time of making oral submission, counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would feel satisfied in case the application for temporary injunction, which is pending before the trial court, is directed to be decided expeditiously.
Counsel for the petitioner admits that defendants have not entered appearance in the proceedings so far.
Having regard to the said fact, the instant petition is disposed of by providing that soon after service on the defendants is duly made, the trial court shall proceed with the disposal of the application for temporary injunction, without granting unnecessary adjournments and by fixing short dates.
