JUDGMENT / ORDER

1. The present application has been preferred by the applicant (original petitioner) with a prayer to direct the respondents to comply with directions contained in order dated 29.03.2011 passed in Special Civil Application No.16823/2010 and allied matters.
2. The brief factual background of the case of the applicant in the petition is that he was desirous of being given appointment on compassionate grounds by the respondent - Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation ("the Corporation", for short). The petition was disposed of, by order dated 29.03.2011 of this Court, in the following terms :
"5. Having heard the learned advocates for the respective parties and in view of the above statements made by them, the following order is passed:
The petitioners shall give undertakings to the respondent-Corporation to the effect that they are ready and willing to be considered for appointment on compassionate grounds, on posts lower than that of Clerk within 3 weeks from today. The respondent-Corporation may consider the applications made by the petitioners for grant of appointment on posts lower than that of Clerk, in accordance with law, and as expeditiously as possible. The petitioners are at liberty to make fresh applications for the post of Clerk, as and when vacancies in the cadre of Clerk arise and the posts are advertised.
6. The petitions are disposed of, in the above terms, with liberty to the petitioners to approach this Court, in case of difficulty."
3. It is the case of the applicant that pursuant to the above order, he has made an application to the Corporation on 18.04.2011, which has not been considered till date, and no decision has been taken so far.
4. Mr.Hemang Shah, learned advocate for the respondents states, upon instructions, that the meeting of the Board of the Corporation is to take placed on 17.01.2012, therefore, reasonable time may be granted, to enable the Corporation to consider the case of the applicant, and take an appropriate decision.
5. In view of the above facts and circumstances, the following order is passed :
The Competent Authority of the respondent - Corporation shall consider and take a decision upon the application made by the applicant, in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The application is disposed of, in the above terms, without entering into the merits of the case.
Direct service of this order is permitted.
