1. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for State.
2. Grievance of petitioner is that he moved an application under the Right to Information Act, 2005 (hereinafter referred to as 'the Act') before respondent no.2 on 5.4.2019 but no information has yet been furnished to him. That being so, petitioner has statutory alternative remedy of filing appeal under Section 19 of the Act. In this circumstance, in our view, writ petition is not maintainable.
3. Dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy.
