JUDGMENT / ORDER

Prayer in both W.Ps: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to extent the last date of submission of Haj 2017 application to the respondents by 30 days i.e. beyond 20.01.2017 & within 20.02.2017.
For Petitioner : Mr.S.Thirumavalavan For Respondents : Mr.T.C.Thirumalaisamy Central Government Standing Counsel C O M M O N O R D E R When the matters are taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondents has produced a notice dated 20.01.2017 that the Government of India, Ministry of Minority Affairs (Haj Division) has already extended time from 20.12.2016 upto 31.01.2017 for registration of Private Tour Operators for Haj 2017. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in these writ petitions.
2. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents, these writ petitions are closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
