By order dated 29.3.2017 in a petition under Section 482 bearing No.8956 of 2017 filed by the applicant, this Court directed the trial court to decide Complaint Case No.774 of 2015 within one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order.
A perusal of the order sheet reveals that the summons could be served upon the opposite party only on 8.5.2018 and, therefore, this Court is not inclined to proceed in contempt against the opposite party at this stage.
The contempt application is disposed of with liberty to the applicant to approach this Court again by way of fresh petition in case the proceedings are not concluded expeditiously.
