THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE S. RAVI KUMAR CRIMINAL PETITION No. 3575 of 2012 ORDER:
This criminal petition is filed to quash the FIR in crime No.385 of 2011 on the file of Langar House police station, Hyderabad.
2. Heard both sides.
3. Learned Public Prosecutor submitted that as per the instructions received from the Sub-Inspector of Police, Langar House, police registered crime No.251 of 2011 on the report given by the 2nd respondent and subsequently police received a complaint from the Court under Section 156(3) Cr.P.C. and the same was registered as crime No.385 of 2011. He further submitted that in view of the pendency of earlier crime No.251 of 2011, the investigation in the present crime i.e., 385 of 2011 is closed as action dropped and to that effect, letter dated 04.07.2014 is addressed by the Langar house police station.
4. Recording the submission of the learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous as police has referred the crime as action dropped.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any filed in this criminal petition, shall stand closed.
