This Writ Petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent No.4 – Senior Geologist to ensure uninterrupted quarrying activity in quarrying lease area at QL No.709, to an extent of 02-00-00 (A-G-A) in government waste land (kharab) out of 15.10 acres in survey No.9 of Kusugundi village, Hosanagara Taluka, Shivamogga district, valid till 12.8.2015, under the benefits of deemed continuation as per order dated 16.10.2015 issued under amended Section 21(2-A) of KMMC Rules, produced at Annexure-B, and etc.
This petition coming on for preliminary hearing this day, the Chief Justice made the following:
ORDER Mr.Ravindra G.Kolle, learned advocate for the writ petitioner submits, on instructions, that the writ petitioner has decided not to press the writ petition.
2. As prayed for by him, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed.
3. We make no order as to costs.
