This criminal revision petition coming on for Admission this day, the Court made the following:
ORDER Learned counsel for the petitioner remained absent continuously.
2. Heard the learned High Court Government Pleader for respondents.
3. This revision petition is filed by the petitioner, challenging the order passed by Deputy Commissioner, Ramanagara District. The petitioner is from Kodihalli village, Kanakapura Taluk, Ramanagara District. The Deputy Commissioner, Ramanagara District has passed an order dated 07.05.2018 directing the petitioner to remove himself out of Ramanagara District from 07.05.2018 to 19.05.2018 under Section 55 of the Karnataka Police Act, 1963. The petitioner challenged the order of the Deputy Commissioner on various grounds.

However, after hearing the learned High Court Government Pleader and on perusal of the order passed by the Deputy Commissioner, which shows that the order passed by the Deputy Commissioner on 07.05.2018 on the background of the by-election held in the said area and the order has now become infructuous and does not survive for consideration, since the date of period of order already expired as on 19.05.2018.
Hence, petition is dismissed.
In view of the dismissal of the petition, I.A. No.1/2018 filed for stay of further proceedings also does not survive for consideration. Hence, I.A.No.1/2018 is also dismissed.
