Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
The present petition has been filed for a direction upon the Civil Judge (Junior Division), Mau to decide the Civil Suit No. 1052 of 1998 (Panmati and another vs. Gyanmati and others) within a stipulated period.
The case of the petitioner is that he is a defendant in the said suit which was filed for permanent injunction and that the Court below has passed the order of status quo on 10.8.1998, thereafter the case was listed on so many dates but nothing has happened.
Considering the facts of the case, without issuing notice to the private respondents, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the Court below to decide the suit expeditiously, preferably if possible within a period of one year from the date of production of certified copy of the order without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
