Hon'ble Govind Mathur,Chief Justice Hon'ble Saurabh Shyam Shamshery,J.
The sole grievance of the petitioners is that after completion of land acquisition proceedings an award has already been passed but that has not been executed by making payment of compensation to the Khatedar, the present petitioners.
The petitioners before approaching this Court also submitted a representation to the Additional District Magistrate (Administration), Bulandshahar and Incharge, Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India. While meeting the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioners, it is stated by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State as well as learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India that certain disputes have been raised by some of the landholders with regard to entitlement to have compensation and in view of that, the disbursement of compensation has not been made.
Be that as it may, having considered the facts of the case, we deem it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition by directing the respondent No. 5, the Additional District Magistrate (Competent Authority), to consider and decide the applications submitted by the petitioners dated 25th April, 2018 in accordance with law. The application is required to be decided within a period of 45 days from the date the petitioners presents a certified copy of this order along with memo of this petition for writ upon him.
With the direction as above, writ petition stands disposed of.
