Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State.
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner Gyan Chandra Kanaujiya with the following prayer :-
"i. To, issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent authorities to take appropriate action by making fair investigation arrest the respondent no. 4 and recovering the minor daughter of petitioner Km. Manisha and after recovery, the minor daughter be handed over to the petitioner, and the respondent no. 4 may be punished in pursuance of First Information Report dated 25.04.2018 in Case Crime No. 0496 of 2018, under Section 363 I.P.C., Police Station Dhoomanganj, District Allahabad.
ii. To issue any other writ order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of the case."
When the matter was taken up today, learned A.G.A. filed an affidavit of compliance and submitted that missing girl has been recovered.
Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the aforesaid fact.
This writ petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous.
We appreciate the efforts made by S.S.P., Allahabad and the Investigating Officer of this case in getting the missing girl recovered.
