JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioners, who are the Class-II heirs of one G.V.Mohanakrishnan, who made an application in Application No.6702 dated 26.05.1997 for an allotment of a shop and in pursuant to the same, a shop was, in fact, allotted in Block No.C, shop No.24, Periyar Vegetable Market, Koyambedu, made a representation seeking for execution of sale deed in their names in pursuant to his demise. The said representation has been made on the premise that the petitioners are the class-II heirs. Seeking to dispose of the representation dated 26.09.2016, the present writ petition has been filed.
2. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, the petitioner is directed to send a copy of the representation dated 26.09.2016 along with this order to the respondents, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the respondents are directed to pass appropriate orders on the said representation within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
3.The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
