JUDGMENT / ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is for a direction to remove the petitioner's name from the History Sheet (History Sheet No.35/09).
2.According to the petitioner, though the respondents had initiated criminal complaints against him, all the cases have been closed and as on date, no criminal case is pending against him.
3.The learned Special Government Pleader, on oral instructions from the respondents, submitted that as on date, no criminal case is pending against the petitioner.
4.I am of the view that it is a fit case for the respondents to reconsider the petitioner's case for removal of his name from the History Sheet No.35/2009.
5.Consequently, the petitioner is granted liberty to make a representation to the third respondent for removal of his name from the History Sheet No.35 of 2009 and on receipt of such representation, third respondent shall consider it in the light of the observations made in this order and pass final orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the said representation.
6.With the above observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
