JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The counsel for the applicant argues that the proceedings are liable to be quashed.
A perusal of the FIR shows that the applicant has been assigned the role of being witness in a allegedly forged sale deed. No good ground for quashing of the FIR as well as charge-sheet at this stage.
The application u/s 482 Cr.P.C. is rejected.
However, the applicant is granted liberty to file discharge application. If the discharge application through counsel is filed the same shall be decided in accordance with law.
