1. This writ petition is a letter sent by detenue from jail. It was said that he is in jail since 1980 and therefore, further period in jail be remitted.
2. Learned A.G.A. has filed an affidavit, stating in para 4 that petitioner Guru Charan Singh S/o Guru Dev Singh has already been released from Central Jail, Patiyala on 11.4.1997.
3. In the circumstances, nothing survives.
4. Writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
