This criminal appeal has been filed against the judgment and order dated 13.02.1992, passed by the Sessions Judge, Pilibhit, in S.T. No. 115 of 1987, under Section 307 I.P.C., Police Station Neoria, District Pilibhit.
From perusal of the report of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pilibhit dated 28.05.2021, it transpires that the sole appellant- Gurdeep Singh, has died on 18.10.2001.
In view of the above stated fact that the sole accused appellant has since expired during the course of the pendency of this appeal, this criminal appeal stands abated.
Consequently, this criminal appeal is dismissed as abated on account the death of the sole accused-appellant.
The present criminal appeal is accordingly, dismissed.
