JUDGMENT / ORDER

This revision was filed on a complaint received from the Central Prison, Viyyur. The person aggrieved was sentenced to undergo imprisonment in enforcement of a maintenance order passed by the Family Court. His grievance is that on some earlier occasions also he had to undergo imprisonment, and so he challenges the legality of the last order by which he was sentenced to undergo imprisonment. The legal question involved in this case was referred to Division Bench, and accordingly a Division Bench of this Court decided a batch of revision petitions involving in the very same issue, and passed orders on 18.11.2013. The Division Bench has held that imprisonment successively, for default in making payment of maintenance is not illegal. The Division Bench has held that imprisonment already undergone is not a sufficient cause to avoid further imprisonment for failure to make payment of maintenance R.P (FC) 175 OF 2010 2 subsequently.
In view of the said decision, this revision is liable to be dismissed. Moreover, there is nobody to prosecute this revision.
In the result, this revision petition is dismissed.
