PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code praying for a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in the above Crime No.154 of 2014 as early as possible pending on the file of the respondent police.
For Petitioner : M/r.R.Sasikumar For Respondent : Mr.C.Emalias Additional Public Prosecutor ORDER This petition has been filed under Section 482 Criminal Procedure Code, seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in connection with the case in Crime No.154 of 2014 as early as possible.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the respondent police would complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of four weeks.
4. The said submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. The respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order without further loss of time.
The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
