The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus commanding the Prescribed Authority/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Dhanaura, District Amroha i.e respondent no.6 to expedite the proceedings in Election Petition no.3 of 2015 instituted by the petitioner against respondent no. 1 who is the elected Gram Pradhan of the Village.
Considering the fact that the Election Petition is pending since 2015, the Prescribed Authority/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Dhanaura, District Amroha is directed to decide the Election Petition No.3 of 2015 (Gulshan versus Mehreen & others) within a period of six months from date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
