Criminal Misc. (Short Term) Bail Application No. 1 of 2018 Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned counsel for complainant and learned AGA.
Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that applicant's mother expired on 21.5.2018 and he is only son of his parent. He has to manage for her 'Terahavi". Hence the applicant may be released on short term bail. First bail application has been rejected by coordinate Bench of this Court. Hence short term bail has been moved in second bail application.
Learned AGA opposed the bail and submitted that first bail application has been rejected by coordinate Bench of this Court. This short term bail has been moved in second bail application. Ground to attend 'Terahavi' of mother of applicant is not sufficient to release the applicant on bail. Original file of bail is not annexed herewith as also date of hearing is not fixed for today.
In above backdrop, no ground is made out to grant short term bail. Accordingly, short term bail application is hereby rejected.
