Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.G.A. for the State.
It is alleged by the petitioner that the investigation in relation to the first information report of Case Crime No.537 of 2017 under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 323 I.P.C. Police Station Thana Bhawan district Shamli is pending but the police are not taking any interest in submission of any report as a result whereof the complainant is before this Court for a direction to the concerned authority.
The incident is of 28.07.2017 and the first information report was lodged on the next day on 29.08.2017. Having considered the submissions raised the Investigating Officer is directed to conclude the investigation as expeditiously as possible and submit a report upon investigation as may be required in terms of Section 173 (2) Cr.P.C. In the event the grievance of the complainant remain unredressed it is open to him to approach the Senior Superintendent of Police concerned for redressal of his grievance.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
