Heard learned counsel for the parties.
In pith and substance, the petitioner is asking that his representation/application dated 16.01.2018 addressed to the District Magistrate, Basti, may be decided expeditiously.
Learned Standing Counsel very fairly submits that in case any such representation is pending, the same would be decided by the concerned authority.
In view of the above, without entering into the merit of the case, the writ petition, on consent, stands disposed of directing the fourth respondent, District Magistrate, Basti, to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner by a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably, within two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order but certainly after according opportunity of hearing to the fifth, sixth and seventh respondents.
