JUDGMENT / ORDER

This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is filed by the petitioner with a prayer to issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ, order or direction directing respondent No.1 to make inquiry in respect of tardy and delayed investigation in the offences registered against the accused under Chapter II Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and so far it appears that though the offences are to be investigated by the officer not less than the rank of Dy. Superintendent of Police, due to pendency of the petitions before this Court no further investigation has taken place and considering what is observed by this Court in Criminal Misc. Application No.5646 of 2011the investigating officer shall complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible without being influenced by any other factor other than the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 of the said statute namely, Act of 1989 and submit the report to the competent authority at the earliest.
With the aforesaid, this Special Criminal Application is disposed of with no order as to costs.
