Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Additional Chief Standing Counsel for respondent No.1.
The petitioner has applied for the grant of death certificate of his father to the respondent No.2 in accordance with the provisions of Uttar Pradesh Janhit Guarantee Adhiniyam, 2011. On the said application, the respondent No.2 has completed the hearing even then no orders have been passed with the result the petitioner has not been favoured with the death certificate.
In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, we dispose off the writ petition with the direction to the respondent No.2 to pass a reasoned and speaking order on the above application of the petitioner for the grant of death certificate in accordance with law most expeditiously, if possible, within six weeks from the date a copy of this order is produced before him.
