Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for the State-respondents.
The petitioner has relied upon G.Os. dated 01.07.1989 and 26.08.1989 and submits that the petitioner who retired in the year 1983, is entitled for the benefit of these government orders so as to get pension of ten years' service.
The submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is wholly misconceived inasmuch as paragraph-4 of the aforesaid G.O. makes it clear that it shall be applicable w.e.f. 01.06.1989.
In view of the aforesaid, I do not find any legal infirmity in the impugned order. Consequently, the writ petition is dismissed.
