Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State-respondents.
This writ petition has been filed praying for the following main reliefs:
"i. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned notice and attachment orders dated 3.11.2020 under Section 14 (1) of U.P. Gangster and Anti Social Activities (prevention) Act, Police Station Ghoorpur, District Prayagraj (Annexure No. 1 to this writ petition).
ii. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the impugned orders dated 3.11.2020 passed by respondent No. 2 may remain stayed."
Learned counsel for the petitioner very fairly states that objection to the notice dated 3.11.2020 has been filed by the petitioner way back on 14.12.2020 but till date the proceedings have not been finalized till date.
Learned counsel for the State-respondents has no objection to the said prayer.
No useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending.
In view of above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to look into the grievance of the petitioner and finalize the proceedings expeditiously and strictly in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of production of a copy of this order before him without granting any adjournment to the parties.
The party shall file computer generated copy of such order downloaded from the official website of High Court Allahabad, self attested by the petitioner alongwith a self attested identity proof of the said person (preferably Aadhar Card) mentioning the mobile number to which the said Aadhar Card is linked.
The concerned Authority/Official shall verify the authenticity of such computerised copy of the order from the official website of High Court Allahabad and shall make a declaration of such verification in writing Order Date :- 26.10.2021 Jaswant
