By impugned notice dated 20.9.2021 issued by respondent no.3, the petitioner has been called upon to pay a sum of Rs.6,58,950/- as arrears of land revenue within fifteen days or submit his explanation as to why proceedings under the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 be not initiated against him.
The petitioner has not submitted any reply to the impugned notice, but has rushed to this Court.
In such circumstances, we refuse to examine the explanation being offered by the petitioner before this Court for not complying with the impugned notice. We leave it open to the petitioner to submit his explanation before the third respondent. In the event, any explanation is furnished within two weeks from today, the third respondent shall examine the same and pass a speaking order.
The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
