This civil application invoking provisions of Article 226 (3) of the Constitution of India, is filed for vacation of the ex-parte ad-interim status quo order granted by this Court on 17.05.2012, in Special Civil Application No. 7189 of 2012. This Court while issuing notice on the main petition, on 17.05.2012, made it returnable on 11.06.2012 and granted status quo order which is not limited.
Learned Counsel for the Applicant has submitted that he may be permitted to withdraw this civil application, however, the status quo order which is to last till further orders, may be restricted to the next date of hearing of the main matter i.e. 11.06.2012, and liberty may be reserved to address the Court even as to why the status quo order be not extended thereafter. Liberty as prayed for is granted.
Civil application is disposed of accordingly.
