In view of the relief prayed for and the grievance made by the petitioner union, particularly with reference to Annexure-D page- 15, the petition appears to be in nature of Public Interest Litigation.
The registry is directed to take necessary action of placing the matter before the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice, however, after examining the subject matter of the petition and the relief prayed for by the petitioner union.
The registry shall also take into account the fact that the petitioner is not an individual interested in the particular post or is eligible for applying for the post in question, but the petitioner is a union.
Mr. Raval, learned advocate for the petitioner, has, however, submitted that according to the petitioner union, the petition is not in nature of Public Interest Litigation as it is preferred to espouse the interest of its members.
After examining these aspects, the registry shall take necessary and appropriate decision.
The petitioner shall supply additional copy of the petition, which may be accepted by the registry in the event a decision to place the matter before the Division Bench is taken.
