Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
Present petition has been filed with the following prayer:-
"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent No. 2 to conclude the hearing and decide the case no. T202113380401619 (Smt. Guddi Devi vs. Charan and others) within the period to be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court."
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a suitable direction may be issued to respondent no. 2 to decide the aforesaid election petition within stipulated period for which learned Standing Counsel has no objection.
In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, with the consent of parties, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 2 to decide the aforesaid election petition strictly in accordance with law expeditiously, if possible within a period of six months from the date of production of computer generated copy of this order after verifying the same from official website of Allahabad High Court, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties and after providing opportunity of hearing to all concerned. In case, election petition is not decided within the prescribed time, reasons shall be recorded for the same.
