JUDGMENT / ORDER

There is no representation for the petitioner either in person or through the learned counsel.
2. The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records and quash the proceedings relating to Notice dated 05.07.2004 in No.SE/UEDC/UDT/AO/R/HT/AS/A1/F.HTSC.No.85/D/2004 issued by the second respondent.
3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that on earlier occasion, the Division Bench of this Court in the decision reported in CDJ 2007 MHC 321 (BMF Beltings Limited v. the Chairman, TNEB and others) had dismissed the writ petitions seeking for the relief sought for in the present writ petition.
4. In view of the above submission made by the learned standing counsel for the respondents and also in the light of the decision of the Division Bench of this Court (cited supra), I do not find any reason to keep this writ petition pending.
5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
