(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) It is informed that the Ramapuram Panchayat has since merged with the Corporation of Chennai. The memo of parties be accordingly amended qua the second respondent.
2.The petitioner alleges illegal construction put up by the third respondent at L-26, Azhagapuri, Ramapuram, Chennai 600 089. It appears that despite the directions of the CMDA / the first respondent, the erstwhile second respondent did not take any action.
3.It is, thus, directed that an inspection of the premises be made by the present second respondent / Corporation of Chennai within fifteen (15) days of the receipt of the order and in case, any unauthorised construction is found, action in accordance with law be taken, after notice to all concerned and concluded within the maximum period of two (2) months thereafter.
Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. No costs.
