This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Judge for expeditious disposal of HMOP.No.100 of 2014 pending on the file of the Sub Court, Kallakurichi, within the time that may be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner is the wife and the respondent is the husband. They got married on 01.11.2006 and their marriage was registered under Hindu Marriage Act. Due to the dispute that arose between the petitioner, both are living separately. The petitioner had filed a petition in HMOP.No.100 of 2014 on the file of Sub Court, Kallakurichi for divorce. The respondent-husband filed counter on 03.6.2016 praying to dismiss the said petition. Subsequently, the said HMOP was posted on 05.11.2016. The petitioner filed proof affidavit and also marked certain documents. Thereafter, the case was posted to 24.11.2016 for cross-examination of the petitioner. Since the respondent has not chosen to cross-examine the petitioner on the dates fixed by the trial Court and also sought adjournments, the case stood adjourned to several dates, and now it is posted to 13.7.2017 for cross-examination of the petitioner. It is also stated that the petitioner is employed in Transport Department and now she has been transferred from Tindivanam to Tambaram-Chennai. In the said circumstances, the petitioner is before this Court in this Civil Revision Petition praying for a direction to the learned Judge to dispose of the petition in HMOP.No. 100 of 2014 on the file of Sub Court, Kallakurichi at the earliest.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on records.

Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner in the present Civil Revision Petition and the matrimonial proceedings is of the year 2014, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the matter, I direct the learned Sub Judge, Kallakurichi, to dispose of the petition in HMOP.No.100 of 2014, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, in any event not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
