This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking transfer of OP No.454/2014 pending before the Family Court, Thrissur to the Family Court, Irinjalakkuda. 2. The marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent became bitter and that gave rise to the litigations. The petitioner had filed MC No.105/2014, OP No.340/2014 and OP No.419/2014 before the Family Court, Irinjalakkuda. The respondent is alleged to have filed OP No.454/2014 before the Family Court, Thrissur. The petitioner points out that she is residing at Irinjalakkuda and she finds it extremely difficult to go over to Thrissur to attend the posting of the case and she has nobody to accompany her. Her parents are advanced in age. She therefore, prays that OP No.454/2014 -2-
Tr.P.(C). No. 453 of 2014 pending before the Family Court, Thrissur may be transferred to the Family Court, Irinjalakkuda so as to enable her to promptly attend the posting of the case and defend the same.
3. Notice was served on the respondent.
4. After having given anxious consideration to various aspects, it is felt that there is no reason as to why the prayer should be rejected.
The petition is allowed. OP No.454/2014 pending before the Family Court, Thrissur is transferred to the Family Court, Irinjalakkuda.
