JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner/landlord has filed this Civil Revision Petition praying to direct the learned XIII Judge, Small Causes Court, Chennai to dispose of R.C.O.P.No.156 of 2009 within a time frame. It is stated that the petitioner is in urgent need of additional accommodation for his unemployed graduate son to run his business and hence, R.C.O.P. had been filed, including the ground of wilful default in payment of rent by the first respondent/tenant and sub-letting. It is the petitioner's grievance that the examination of witnesses is in progress and it is getting delayed under one pretext or the other. As the said R.C.O.P. is pending from 2009 and also taking into account the above facts, this Court directs the learned XIII Judge, Small Causes Court, Chennai to dispose of R.C.O.P.No.156 of 2009 before 30.04.2017 without seeking further extension of time. With this direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
