Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was receiving the family pension. It is further submitted that as the petitioner is no more, the petitioner's husband is getting family pension subsequent to the death.

Therefore, the writ petition is closed without examining the merits of the grounds raised as it is unnecessary to proceed with this writ petition.
