JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioners are accused in Crime No.905 of 2013 of Mannuthy Police Station and the matter is pending as C.C.No.1099 of 2013 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-III, Thrissur. The offences alleged against the petitioners are punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 498A and 506(ii) read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 1st petitioner is the husband of the 2nd respondent. Other petitioners are relatives of the 1st petitioner.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent. Learned Public Prosecutor is also heard.
3. Learned counsel for the 2nd respondent submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties and she filed an affidavit (Annexure-2) indicating composition of the matter. Considering the relationship between the parties and the factum of settlement, I find that continuance of the proceeding will result in injustice to parties.
In the result, petition is allowed. Annexure-1 final report in Crl.MC No.2630/2014 2 C.C.No.1099 of 2013 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-III, Thrissur is hereby quashed.
A. HARIPRASAD, JUDGE.
