2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to remove the unlawful encroachment and car shed put up by the 4th respondent in Ward No.17 A Block No.68, Town Survey Number 53 at Kaveri Nagar, Mettur Dam, Salem District pursuant to the petitioner's representation dated 11.2.2016.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that the residents of Kaveri Nagar are using 30 Feet road as common pathway and now that road has been encroached to an extent of 20 Feet by the fourth respondent, who has put up a building and car shed there. Complaining about the same, the petitioner made representation on 11.2.2016 to respondents 1 to 3. However, no action has been taken by the said respondents till date. Hence, the present writ petition.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, we direct the respondent authorities to consider the grievance of the petitioner as expressed in his representation dated 11.2.2016 and do the needful in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be done within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
