JUDGMENT / ORDER

This writ petition is filed to direct the 1st Respondent to issue a new family card to the petitioner based on the request dated 02.03.2016.

2.By consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
3.According to the petitioner, he applied for new ration card on 02.03.2016 but till date, the respondents has not issued new family card to the petitioner. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.
4.Heard both sides.
5.In view of the limited prayer sought for in this petition, this court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter directs the first respondent to consider the request of the petitioner dated 02.03.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
