JUDGMENT / ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation given by the petitioner on 10.03.2010 on merits and pass orders.
2.The petitioner has submitted the said representation to the respondent Transport Corporation, seeking compassionate appointment to her daughter for the sudden demise of her son, who was the erstwhile employee of the respondent Corporation. Since the said representation is pending all along as no order was passed by the respondents, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that if a direction is given by this Court directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2010, within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied.
4.Heard the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents also.
5.In view of the said limited prayer as has been sought for by the petitioner herein, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.03.2010 and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law with regard to the claim of the petitioner, seeking compassionate appointment to her daughter and pass orders thereon within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With this direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
