JUDGMENT / ORDER

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Learned counsel for the parties have agreed that in view of certain subsequent development, the contract in question be treated as null and void without any obligation on either of the parties. This is without in any manner admitting any of the allegations in the original petition against the respondent therein.
2.The cheques stated to be lying with the bank, numbering 60, which are subject matter of the proceedings under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, on which the appeal arises, will be returned by the appellant to the respondent, within four (4) weeks from today.
Original Side Appeal is, accordingly, disposed of. No costs. Consequently, M.P.No.1 of 2014 is closed.
