JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to take necessary action for issuance of a New Passport in his favour in connection with file No. TR2079973844317, on the basis of the representation dated 04.09.2017.
2.Heard Mr.S.Vinayak, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.K.Asok Kumar Ram, learned counsel for first respondent and Mr.G.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the second respondent.
3.Mr.G.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the second respondent, on instructions, would submit that the criminal complaints were given against one Kalaiselvan and others, who were running the travel agency at Trichy. Based on the complaint, the second respondent registered a case in crime No.1 of 2017 under Passport Act. Pursuant to the search, the second respondent has seized totally 112 documents including the petitioner's passport.
4.The learned Government Advocate would further submit that now the petitioner's passport and all the documents seized by the second respondent were produced before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Trichy in Crime No.1 of 2017.
5.In view of the above submission, nothing survives for further adjudication. Hence, this Writ Petition is closed by giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Trichy for getting his passport. No costs.
